Myponga
Thank you to my Uncle Richard and Aunty Jo for having me stay with you at there beautiful place at Myponga. On my way down to Visit them I stopped at Kuitpo forrest and i cannot believe that a place like this existed in South Australia, I felt as though I was back in the states at christmas time with the beautiful sent of pine trees surrounding me. The Bed and Breakfast called Brooklyn Farm was used for the movie ‘Boys are Back’ a traditional style Australian house which I loved so much, nestled in the valley only 5 minutes from the beach.
Deep Creek National Park
I have only been to a few places on the Fleurieu Peninsula so it was a perfect time to go explore when Cam came down to visit. We spent the first few nights at One Tree Hill then headed down to Goolwa were we went on Hindmarsh Island and the checked out the Coorong. Unfortunately we didn’t drive along the Coorong to camp, but next time around we definitely will. Then we went to Deep Creek Conservation Park, where we checked out the forests, beaches and other amazing sites it has to offer. We camped at a beautiful spot, where if you looked close enough you could just see the water. Cam and I spent a good few hours chasing Kangaroos with the Go Pro trying to get photos of them. Just before sunset we started a beautiful bush walk that lead towards the beach. All the trees had been burnt to a beautiful charcoal colour, yet all the new shrubs growing were bright green. The contrast of colours with the orange sky was beautiful, a beautiful night for a walk.

Wirrina Cove, Rapid Bay, Port Willunga
After our awesome few nights Camping in Deep Creek National Park, we joined my family on our boat in Wirrina Cove to sail it back to port adelaide, as it was 40 degrees that day we made a few spots to swim, fish and get more supplies to cool down. This was the first time actually started to realise how cool South Australia really is, so it was so good to show him the coastline by boat and to go reef snorkelling in the beautiful weather.

Sellicks Beach
Cam and I had the pleasure of going down to our shack at Sellicks beach for a little weekend away while Cam was down for a visit. Although the weather was not brilliant we did get to explore the beautiful wineries of McClaren Vale.
